In an elementary school in a tough, outlying area of Paris, where teachers burn out steadily and leave in droves each year, five young and relatively inexperienced teachers made a commitment to stay. Five years later, they describe their daily lives in this school, one like so many others, what they dream of building and at times fear cannot achieve.
