Published by L’Agence du court métrage, Bref magazine was created in 1989 with the idea to create a link between people who make short films, people who broadcast them, and people who watch them. Bref explores the variety of cinema, genres and new trends through the prism of short forms. This magazine targets all seventh art lovers, eager to discover the best of short films.

Once a year, subscribers receive a magazine around the month of February, during the Clermont-Ferrand International Short Film Festival.


Bref changed its offer in 2016, with features such as Brefcinema, a new website.
