À quatorze ans, Lila rêve d’intégrer la classe de foot féminin du collège. À défaut de soutien parental, elle compte sur celui de Nolan, son frère aîné adoré. Tout juste majeur, il est lui à la croisée des chemins, face à des problèmes judiciaires. Le jour des sélections de la classe foot, Lila fait face à un énième manquement maternel et se retrouve avec sa petite sœur Romy de quatre ans sur les bras.
At fourteen, Lila dreams of joining her middle school's girls' soccer team.
With no support from her parents, she relies on her beloved older brother Nolan. Having just turned eighteen, he finds himself at a crossroads, facing legal responsibilities.
On the day of the soccer team tryouts, Lila faces yet another maternal failure and finds herself stuck with her four-year-old little sister Romy.
On the other side of town, Nolan has to make a big decision.
