Michel, ouvrier agricole, vit avec sa femme et son fils Pierre dans une maison isolée au milieu des bois. Un étranger arrive et demande qu'on le cache. L'enfant, seul, doit prendre une décision. Dehors les gendarmes mènent une battue.
Michel, an agricultural worker, lives with his wife and son Pierre in an isolated house in the middle of the woods. A stranger arrives and asks to be hidden. The child, alone, has to make a decision. Outside, the police are hot on the trail.
